A custom-designed iPhone 6 case created using OpenSCad, tailored to the phone's dimensions specified in "phoneDimensions.scad". This makes it easy to modify the design for other iPhone models as well. The back of the case is easily customizable, allowing users to create their own unique patterns. Hexagonal designs are a personal favorite. If you only want to print the case, there are two parts: an upper and lower piece. The lower piece fits snugly into the SeeMeCNC Orion printer. Be cautious when using this design, as it's still a work in progress. The case has withstood several drops without harming the phone, but it does split under impact, requiring reprinting. Users should take necessary precautions to avoid damage. Future improvements are planned to address snagging issues and simplify disassembly. To-do list: * Round out the opening for the buttons to prevent snagging * Add slots to the rounded sides for easier separation of the halves * Consider creating a mold for casting the case Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: ORION Delta 3D Printer Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: ABS material is recommended, with rafts and supports helping to prevent warping. Recent Matter Control updates have improved support generation and removal. Design Process: The design started with Apple's Case-Design Guidelines, which were used to derive the necessary profiles for the case. The code was kept manageable by splitting it into multiple files, allowing for easy modification and customization.
