Counter Coaster Corner - Roller Ball Holder
prusaprinters
This print is a mount for small nylon roller balls like the ones shown in the photos. These are typically sold with this description :Mini Nylon Ball Transfer Bearing Unit Table Conveyor Roller for TransmissionThis print was used to make a “counter coaster” - a square flat plate which sits on a kitchen counter and rolls easily over the counter. I use it to hold a coffee maker and two coffee mugs. It allows me to push the coffee maker and mugs to the back of the counter when not in use, and then easily move them forward when necessary. As noted below, I used a large square ceramic tile, but a previous version was made with a slab of wood. They should work with a variety of sizes as long as there are square corners.AssemblyI used a ceramic tile measuring 11-¾" X 11-¾" (approximately 300mm X 300mm). The roller ball units are a press fit into the corner mounts, and the four corner mounts are then glued to each corner of the tile. I used E6000 adhesive - a gap filling flexible adhesive which dries clear. Print InstructionsPrint in PETG using the 3mf or gcode files provided.
