Count Deku (you know, like a Deku shrub version of count Dooku. Get it?)
thingiverse
This is a unique mashup head, combining elements of Count Dooku and Deku shrubs in a creative play on words. While not everyone caught the reference, those who did appreciated the clever idea. A high-poly version of this design was created for 3D printing purposes, but I opted to use the DXF files in the picture instead. Initially, I had planned to cut out the shapes using my laser cutter, but unfortunately, it burned out its module, so I resized them to fit 12"x12" sheets and used a silhouette machine owned by my wife. To ensure stability, I stiffened the material with epoxy and added texture using plaster filler; although there might be better options available for this step.
