Couch Mug Adapter

So this was done for a friend. He has cup holders in his couch but wanted something that would hold a coffee mug.

There's a lot of stuff in this category and chances are you'll just whip something up yourself to suit your own tastes.

I had a look at this one [ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3853595 ] which almost works although it requires a ton of support material blowing the print out to about a day.

I've used similar measurements but done it from scratch in F360 and made some improvements along the way.

Double-sided handle slot

Chamfer transition so no supports required

All edges filleted to make everything less sharp

Edge of holder reduced from 5mm thickness to 3mm

If you've got Fusion 360, this is reasonably parametric in that you can go back to the first sketch and adjust some dimensions. You might have to adjust the main chamfer on the transition afterwards though.

Only needs 10%, maybe 15% infill tops. About 15 hrs to print depending on your printing speeds.

This is about 115mm (I think) across at the top, with 3mm sides for the mugs. 54mm drop into the cup holder and 82.70mm diameter, which should fit the standard cup holders for couches.
