This seems like an obscure area of interest, but I've decided to share my project just in case someone else out there might need something similar someday. My couch features a built-in LCD touchscreen that lets me adjust the seat recline, control massage settings, and regulate heat. It's fantastic, but kids of all ages love randomly tapping on screens, which gets me ejected from my seat at a glacial pace or turns up the heat when it's already scorching outside. To prevent this chaos, I designed a display blocker that attaches to a hinge. The goal is for my wife and me to be able to lift it whenever we want to recline our seats, while kids are discouraged from randomly pushing buttons. This design prints in one continuous piece and uses EZ Pass stickers to secure it in place. When the kids aren't around, I can easily remove them so the display remains unobstructed. The display itself has a USB port on the front for charging phones, so there's a cutout for that feature as well.
