Its primary function is to cover the smaller recess that typically accommodates 65mm can holders, making it challenging to hold cups with diameters around 70mm +/-. This particular design also allows for upside-down insertion, enabling users to utilize the cup holders for most cups or mugs with handles, provided the holder depth falls within the range of approximately 50-65mm.
