Cotton reel tractor toy 3D model

An animated representation of the classic childhood toy known as a "Cotton reel tractor" comes to life. We crafted these simple contraptions from discarded cotton reels, meticulously carving notches along both edges to create a makeshift gear system. A piece of candle served as a washer, while an elastic band was threaded through with a matchstick at one end and a lollipop stick at the other. To bring this nostalgic model into the digital age, I've incorporated a C4D motor, imbuing it with animation and interaction. The model now engages with its bumpy base, creating a dynamic and engaging scene. Modeled in Cinema 4D, both the original model and an FBX version are included, complete with lighting, camera settings, materials, and action. To take this digital creation to the next level, I've also brought it into the physical realm by 3D printing a working toy. All that's needed is an elastic band, which can be wound up to unleash the tractor's motion. Simply release the tension, and watch as the Cotton reel tractor springs to life.
