Warning! This is only a concept, 3D printed plastic has no fireproof properties and I assume no liability for injuries caused by this cotton bud gun. I created this as a proof of concept, using a mini hob lighter (available on eBay) to launch a half-cut cotton bud (ear swab) with the cotton end first, slightly dampened. The chamber was printed separately to ensure no support structure was inside, then glued to the bottom of the gun using PVC Pipe Cement (the type used by plumbers). The barrel may print with support, so I used a thin screwdriver to push this out. Once the glue dried, I inserted the half ear swab cotton end first into the barrel after giving it a little lick. Next, I placed the lighter in the chamber hole and carefully squeezed the trigger for about 8 seconds to allow some gas in without lighting the lighter. Then, I aimed and squeezed the trigger all the way down to activate the piezoelectric ignition.
