My girlfriend insisted I had to figure out a way to tell her keys apart, and that meant something needed to be done. So I came up with the design for a key cap and printed it off. To get the best results print in flexible filament, like ninjaflex or similar, as this may even work with ABS though I haven't given it a try yet. Note: This could boost my wife's WAF score (Wife Acceptance Factor) when it comes to 3D printing;). Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 (Sunhokey 2015) Rafts: It Doesn't Matter Supports: You Can Pick Whatever You Like Resolution: 0.2mm is where you should set it Infill: Choose 100% for best results, trust me. Layer Height: I found the Prusa i3 works perfectly at this level. Perimeters: The default of 2 was fine in my experience - but maybe you'll want to tweak this depending on nozzle size and model design. Print Speed: This was fast - around 30mm/s. Nozzle Temperature: Don't skip over the high first layer temp - it helps ensure adhesion; after that just keep at 210C, as I have. Bed Temperature: Try not to skimp out on the bed - keeping it hot, roughly 90C or so. Brim Width: Set it around three mm thick and let it get some air under it when it prints
