Costume Unicorn Horn

My kids asked for some unicorn horns, so I created these designs and printed them out. They look amazing when made with translucent material - just add a glow stick and they light up in the dark! Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1984mm Infill: Varied I printed the Horn as a spiral vase with a 0.8mm wall thickness and no bottom in my slicer. Turning on a fan while printing helped achieve better quality towards the end. For the clip, print it however you like. I used 0.1984mm at 15% infill. Post-Printing: I used some standard elastic from Ben Franklin's store, but the design is meant for a 1mm x 9.5mm band, so feel free to use whatever works best. Just attach them like regular straps and you can easily adjust the fit or sew them in place and discard the excess. It helps to squeeze the base of the horn slightly to insert the clip, but it holds securely. I designed this using Rhinoceros 3D software.
