Costco 20V Power Drive RC Truck

Bought the big RC Truck that Costco had for sale during Nov-Dec 2020. A steering component broke after a few months. To make it robust enough out of printed material the design had to change slightly. It is now two parts, the bracket and a cylinder are screwed together. Hopefully you have a screw laying around that will work. In the picture with with the three parts the one on the right is the original. The center is the first attempt which quickly broke. You can see where the boss broke from the base of the bracket. A longer screw may have helped prevent the failure. The one on the left is the current revision with the cylinder in place. Since it is supported above and below it seems to be much more robust to abuse. Also not sure what the hood clips were designed for they definitely don't work well. I ran a .125in (3.2mm) drill through the holes so that the stock clips would fit. The clips were too large to properly hold on and stay put.
