Costa Replacement Temples
thingiverse
I smashed my trusty Costa 580P shades and figured it was time to get creative - designing and printing new arms from scratch. It turned out great, so I'm sharing the process with you. I'm also including a modified Slic3r script that's worth noting. The hinges require extra support compared to the rest of the arm. Here are my print settings: First Layer: .3mm thick Layers: .15mm high Perimeters: 3 solid layers Top/Bottom Layers: single layer on top and bottom Speed: no faster than 30mm per second Infill: none at all (0%) Filament: Makergeek, heated to 230C Cooling: max cooling above layer 2
