I designed this clip for use in a costume with cooling fans. I soldered the red wires to the switch and the black wires together. I used liquid electrical tape to seal the connections on the switch and I used heat shrink tubing on the negative splice. Note that I created a hole for the wires. The fans are these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WMHNG5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they are super quiet. These are the switches that will fit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N2U8PK0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and these are the 9-volt battery clips I am using: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Y8JH5H/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I put a battery on the clip then glued the clip in place so for future battery change-outs, its all lined up. I tested the battery life and a fresh 9volt battery will get you just over an hour and a half. I confirmed that the battery does not get hot while running.
