Cospad Case Diamond-Like
thingiverse
Human: # Cospad... what? This is my second cospad case. See https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3233852 for more details. Recently, I've been strongly inspired by a KBDFans work. This cospad case has a diamond-like shape very similar to the 5 degree KBDFans. I apologize myself for cloning it, but I like it very much (as you can see, I have one of the original cases for my GK64). # V2 (2019-02-26) The new V2 version is out. It's now more similar to the original 5 degree case. I printed it roughly with a 0.24mm layer height, but it still looks nice (the matt black/grey like version in the pictures). # V1 This is the very first version. The design has some issues, the most important of which is that the angle is not 5 degrees. Updates will come soon or later. # PCB screws I used threaded inserts of 2x4x3.5 mm (inner and outer diameters and height). The PCB is held by 4 M2 4mm-height screws. # Aside notes I use this pad for testing different switches, so I made the PCB hotswappable using Holtite sockets. In the current build, I'm using Kailh Box Navy switches, which are really cool if you're a clicky person.
