The given image of Cory Doctorow, originally scanned by Sample and Hold, has been optimized for printing purposes. To achieve this, the following steps were taken: converting to .stl format, decimating to 100k polygons in Meshlab, repairing using Netfabb's clod service, rotating to follow conventional 3D printing orientation (Z+ = up), trimming overhangs from the bottom, and scaling by 50% for compatibility with most consumer printers. The final file should be ready for direct print without any additional adjustments.
