I'm creating a new iteration of Venom for my cyberpunk Spiderman series, and this version is distinct from its original counterpart. On Earth-2077, the Symbiote crash-lands, where it's discovered by this world's Life Foundation. They experiment on and clone the creature with human and Symbiote DNA, resulting in a unique individual that doesn't rely on bonding with hosts to survive - instead, it possesses its own physical form, setting it apart from its main counterpart.
