This part fixes a frequently broken plastic piece behind the trunk button. I made this because I didn't want to spend $40 on this part from zip-corvette.com/97-04-instrument-panel-knee-pad-repair-kit.html, or even buy a whole new knee bolster. This is also my first 3D model. V2 Installation: To install, you'll need to put one screw/bolt of any size in the spot shown in the pictures. For me, this worked perfectly fine and kept it in place without adding screws on the other side like the $40 kit does. Just drill your own hole - you'll have to drill through the original plastic anyway, so I didn't bother adding a pre-made hole onto the print. When you screw it into the car, it will fit snugly with the original screw. Note: I tried putting a second screw on the other side but it got in the way of some plastic behind it. The part works fine with just one screw attached to the side near the clip, and if you want, you could even do two screws! If you want to attach the other side too, use V3. V3 Installation: I didn't test V3 personally; I installed V2 in my car and it works great for me. V3 has a longer piece on the other side so you can now attach to both sides if you'd like, and added two 3mm holes as drill spots. I haven't tested this, so I can't guarantee that the new plastic part and drill hole will fit properly. If they don't, you can just cut off the little arm and you'll have a V2. And if you want a V2_slim, just cut off the square hole that the peg goes through. Might need to scale it before printing. The correct size for V2 is 7.2cm X 4.4cm X 1.2cm.
