Intake manifold covers safeguard a 110 HP Corvair engine's integrity. A paper towel "burrito" suffices to keep foreign particles out of the intake when carbs are detached, but these covers also shield the sealing surface from damage - perfect for subsequent pressure washing or soda/bead blasting the heads.
