WARNING: this device gets hot and may cause damage injury or fire. A thermal fuse behind the transmitter is recommended. This is a modification to the corsair wireless headset to add wireless charging. I built this because my kids rip out the charging cable which destroys it. This mod will disable the left corsair logo led. Hardware: 25mm coil wireless charging module / power supply module 9v wall wart (optional) thermal fuse 80c-100c (optional) male and female barrel jack to screw connector (optional) 7mm * 20mm limit switch Printing: lots of support blockers Headset Assembly: - Take the left side of the head set apart. Use the proper screw driver and a quick jerk to crack the screws, they strip easily. - Remove the charging board. Even presser on both locking taps so you don't brake them. - Remove and rotate the main board out of the way. removing the black tape will make it easier. - Remove the logo led sticker diffuser (white/clear triangle under the main board). - If the receiver has aluminum wire replace it with copper to make your life easier. - Glue the receiver into the diffusers spot. Make sure the leads are pointing towards the mic hinge. - Solder the leads to the USB board. Solder to the gold pads opposite of the wire leads. - Reassemble. Make sure no wires are over a screw hole
