I needed a place to hang my headset and a place to clip the controller. I have 2 available slots for other drives or card readers on my tower. Since I have a 3d printer and like messing around with fusion 360...I decided to make one. I used and existing cover to get the dimensions for the clips and backside, with some modifications. First off, I printed every part for this with its main face down on the bed. I wanted nice flat surfaces. I know you must be thinking "You're a madman! Those clips will break off because of the way they are printed. It's their weakest form!!" and you would be correct. I however, am very stubborn and I wanted minimal supports and that super nice outward facing surface. More on my method after some other notes. The clip for the controller is a press fit and it may be hard to do by hand. You will need either to be creative with some sort of press fixture or if you happen to own a set of Knipex Parallel jaw pliers(if you don't you should! They're amazing.) part number: 86 03 180. I used a set to press in the clip to the faceplate. Parallel jaw pliers are amazing and incredibly useful. The headband hanger is a looser fit which I could slip in by hand with a small amount of wiggle and pushing. Then I secure it in place with some CA glue(superglue). The final install requires some finesse because, I'm a glutton for punishment. I used a heat gun to soften one of the tabs because I was afraid it would break along the layer line(YMMV). Once I had it in place everything clicked into its place and I just held the soften tab for a couple of moments until it cooled into place. It still had a little spring back but it still keeps the faceplate securely in place and I was able to remove and reinstall without the heat gun. I pulled straight out from the face, with more force than this thing should ever see on that axis and it stayed firmly in place. Same with downward force though a little more gently given the leverage I gain from the headband holder. For a quick fun note. I have a DVD drive installed on the top slot but it looks like I don't from the pictures. With the help from a heat gun you can remove the metal plate that is glued onto the ABS face plates that come with the case. Then I removed all the adhesive from the metal plate(razor blade scrapers and mineral spirits) and installed a couple of 3M Removable Interlocking Fasteners that I cut into quarter sections and they happen to be the perfect height to match flush with the case/other faceplates. Since they have such a small interlocking feature with being cut into such small pieces, I can just pull the plate off without deforming it when I need to use the drive and pop it back in place almost just as quickly.
