I crafted a makeshift standoff for my brother's case, but the original design went missing. Instead of resorting to using Legos or other makeshift solutions, I decided to get creative and craft something more substantial. The standoff was designed in TinkerCAD, a popular digital fabrication tool. It consists of a large cylindrical piece that is hollow at its center, allowing for rapid printing. To assemble it, simply push the standoff into the socket on the case with a hammer or similar tool.
