Corsa C bonnet prop clip
thingiverse
This is to replace a faulty or missing bonnet prop clip on a Vauxhall/Opel Corsa C. The same clip is reportedly used on the Meriva and Tigra, but this has not been personally verified.\nThere's an existing design on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42481), but it didn't fit properly and lacked provision for the bowden cable, which should lie behind the clip adjacent to the metal.\nPrinting in PETG with 2 shells is suggested so that the clip has some flexibility when fitting. ABS could work too, but PLA might be too rigid and potentially deform if it gets too hot under there!\nSupports will be necessary for successful printing of the clips.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: RepRap\nPrinter: RepRap Kossel\nRafts: No\nSupports: Yes\nResolution: 0.2\nInfill: 20%\nHow I Designed This\nI scanned the original broken part using a flatbed scanner, then imported and scaled the image into Fusion 360 to approximate the outline.
