Corrugated Skull - Carton Laser cutting

Remix from Plastic Corrugated Skull by whastupdoc, published Apr 2, 2015 Wow, super cool idea. My version is made with low-cost cardboard - it's literally impossible to go cheaper. The only thing that consumes energy is the laser cutting. I have heaps of cardboard here stacked up. It took about 20 minutes to cut out the part. It looks enormous - girls can be terrified by how beautiful they look... To synchronize the layers, I use Plexiglas rods which can be easily trimmed down. You could also use metal, like rod studs from the hardware store. The original crossed-over strips cut with a laser are not very suitable for cardboard execution, it will get messed up quickly. Still, anyone with access to a CO2 laser can achieve impressive results in no time using cheap materials - I've used intermediate layers of 2.5mm thick corrugated cardboard.
