Here is my take on the corridor wall supports as seen in the movie, Aliens. This was designed free-hand, meaning I just looked at screen shots and images from books to get the dimensions. This is designed to go with the NECA Alien action figures which are about 7-9 inches in height. I originally wanted just one side of the hallway but I am working on making both sides/walls to make it fully enclosed. These railing are tall and wide and will not print on some printers due to size. In addition to the safety railings, I am adding lights under the railings and to the ceiling using LED filaments (see photos). I'll provide more about the lights in a seperate upload. Speaking of the safety railing, that is made of a strip of balsa wood. I printed the safety tape out from an image and used a little adhesive to apply it. Another addition is the small horizontal rod on the wall supports. This was not printed but an 1/8 inch plastic dowel that is cut to fit. The flat red wall panels was a purchase from Cults3D maker, Brakados, https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/aliens-panel-corridor. The larger wall panel was a creation of mine from looking at images of the movie. I'll upload that file as a stand alone. I am making other versions of wall panels so keep an eye out. This whole project is still a work in progress so stayed tuned for more pieces to the puzzle. Please let me know if you have any questions about this build.
