This redesigned "Side Dispenser" version of a popular "Correction Roller," such as Wite-Out Correction Tape, features an optimized friction clutch mechanism. The clutch is realized through radial friction between concentric supply and take-up reels, utilizing a new designed clutch ring with three spring arms, made from recommended POM plastic material. Despite continuous improvements in the friction clutch, finding a perfect solution remains challenging due to changing transmission ratios for tape loops and tear-off. A STEP file (.stp) of the complete assembly is available for download, along with native files for Creo Parametric 2.0 users.
