The Hall sensor connector on our VR6 engine is frequently faulty due to prolonged exposure to hot conditions, which causes the plastic to become brittle and prone to breaking easily. To resolve this issue, we can replace the existing connector with a new one that has been specifically designed for this purpose. When removing the old connector, it's essential to handle the wires with care to avoid any damage. A small saw or Dremel can be used to carefully cut through the old connector without causing harm to the surrounding components. To ensure the new parts are robust enough to withstand the high temperatures, I printed them using PET material with a 100% infill setting. This will provide the necessary strength and durability required for this application. Additionally, I have made some modifications to the design of the housing to make it less bulky and more efficient in terms of filament usage.
