Corrado shift knob

I went through several iterations before settling on a design that works flawlessly. Initially, I printed the threads directly into the center of the shifter, but it was a single piece and would loosen when the shifter got hot, which was frustrating. To rectify this issue, I decided to break the shifter into two separate pieces, securing them together with a hex nut that provides a snug fit and prevents loosening. A crucial detail for owners of Corrado shifters is that they require an M12x1.5 hex nut. The bottom of my design features a small lip specifically designed to accommodate the g60-style leather boot, allowing it to slide on smoothly. However, please note that the Vr6 boot will not be compatible with this shifter. One essential tip I've discovered for working with PLA is the use of Sci Grip #4 fast-set acrylic liquid, which has proven to be an effective adhesive for joining pieces together.
