If you want to add an original VW additional brake light, use this template to position it correctly. The template is a copy of the original hood plate. To align it properly, use the license plate light holes as your guide and you're done. I used a Dremel to carefully cut out the hole needed for the brakelight. A clip can be attached to mount the brakelight securely using the bolts on the brakelight itself, pushing the clip firmly against the hood.
