IMPORTANT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS STAY HOME AND LIMIT THE SPREAD WHEN OUT FOR FOOD SHOPPING EVERYONE IS A POTENTIAL SPREADER, INCLUDING YOU! 1) Read WHO advice - masks are useful for preventing spreading only when combined with other means. In my case, I use a mask as a last resort since all shops are out of stock. 2) Adjust the size to fit your face by measuring it against the picture provided. You can increase or decrease the size using a scaling factor, such as 88.7% for my girlfriend's mask. 3) Print the fit test with rigid material to ensure a proper fit. Press the mask gently against your face - it should show no light under the shape. 4) Test the mask for air tightness by shaving your beard if necessary. The mask must be airtight all around. 5) Do not use paper-like materials, as they become wet and crack easily. Instead, opt for cotton pillowcases with antibacterial properties and fine quality (400 thread count). Use two layers only if you can breathe easily through it. 6) Wear the mask only for unavoidable food shopping and stay home afterwards. Wash the mask and your clothes extensively upon returning home, leaving the mask untouched for at least three days before reusing it. 7) Use elastic to apply pressure against your face, as this is the only way to achieve airtightness. 8) Control the printed mask with a light source - it must be perfect without holes. 9) Print the circle part downwards and without supports or rafts. 10) I added a blind cover for testing airtightness. Gently blow air through it to detect leaks and their locations. The mask design is based on my 3D face scan, but it fits well after shrinking by 88% in Cura. Some people have reported success by heating the mask to adapt it to their shape better. You can send me your facial scan for adaptation purposes.
