This is a respirator mask concept. The filter housing will accommodate various media based on what's available. A chart indicates effectiveness levels. The disposable, paper mask component can be printed and folded according to instructions, then the mask part should snap into place. Please note that I'm stuck at home without access to my printer, so this design hasn't been validated yet. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Design-wise, the 3D printed parts can be printed flat with no support, making it suitable for relatively modest printers using whatever filament is on hand. The challenge lies in delivering respirators solely through digital files, allowing them to be made locally by anyone who needs one with a 3D printer, paper printer, tape, scissors, and strapping. In a pinch, the mask could be made with just the paper part – two layers of paper with filter media in between.
