- Contact with skin is smooth - There is an included brim to improve print success ratio - Fast to print, consumes little filament - Fits in smaller printers - Easy to attach different types of rubber band - Use a standard 3 hole hole puncher to punch holes easily - This is a mod of the prusa rc1 mask Fill out form for a customized earloop:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1u-bPBFSRKzWypRoye0H8UQpBawGBz2lYUi43g735VDM/edit This is a remix of the prusa facemask, which requires very specific material to make. The version 4 mask is fixes many bugs from previous versions If you can't download the files, check download it from my profile on thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4235610  The version 2 masks are easier to assembly: Use a standard 3 hole hole puncher but only punch 2 holes at the bottom, the bottom piece fits perfectly. This remix can be made with any kind of plastic film big enough and a standard 3-hole hole puncher.Because many hospitals don't have enough facemasks for all of the workers, I hope my remix can help alleviate the situation. Unlike a normal facemask, the plastic film can actually protect against blood spill, making it more effective at preventing the spread of the virus. All you need are a standard 3-hole hole puncher, a plastic film, and a printer. The assembly is quick and easy and I hope this mask can help many doctors and nurses. If you use PLA as your filament of choice, then it can only be used once because PLA can't be sanitized. Instructions: Print the top part and the bottom part Hole punch a plastic film accordingly so it fits tightly on the top and bottom If you are cutting the film by hand, make sure you don't make the hole too big Tie the ends on the top half with a rubber band, adjust the size so it fits on your head Attach the top cover.
