To create this door latch: Gather the following materials: 1 Main Structure 1 Hinge 1 New Axle 1 Axle Nut To fasten the string: Secure the first part of the string to the knob and wrap it around 4 times before letting it down. Then, pass the other end through the hinge holes and tie a knot. To attach the door latch to the doorframe: Add wood screws into the door and take advantage of the countersinks already present in the design.
