(Corona) SaveGrabber/ Door Opener by CR-3D
thingiverse
To support healthy habits during the Corona pandemic, I'm sharing this innovative tool:\r\n\r\nWhen opening doors, I already use my underarm on the doorknob and push open with my shoulder. However, for the opposite direction, I need to pull the door handle or knob.\r\nThe hook helps to open these doors without touching them with your hands.\r\nThe knob allows you to press escalator buttons or ringing bells without using your fingers (or knuckles).\r\nIf something is on the door handles or knobs, this tool can help prevent contaminating your hands.\r\n\r\nA keyring hole makes it easy to keep the tool with you when leaving home. The holster can be attached to your trousers.\r\n\r\nPrint it strong using PETG to ensure it doesn't break.\r\nDon't panic; follow the guidelines proposed by WHO, RKI, and CDC to protect the lives of our parents.\r\n\r\nI encountered issues with other designs that had only one hole, so I designed this tool with two holes for two fingers.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, there's a variant with an increased size to apply more power to a door handle.\r\n\r\nThere are three sizes available, and the original one is too large. The 80% variant worked best for me...\r\n\r\nHappy printing!
