Corona Coffee Mask

Corona Coffee Mask

I put together two safety masks using commercial coffee filters, with a focus on their design. To assemble these masks, I sandwich 2-3 filters together and then fold down the filter where the nose insert is, securing it to my face. Printing out the prototype takes approximately 1.5 hours, while the final version requires about 4.5 hours on my CR-10S. I use 1/4 inch elastic banding to create fasteners for this mask, allowing users to wear it around their ears or overhead for added convenience. My first printed prototype was designed to test fit on a face, and although it worked well, the coffee filter came into contact with the mouth, which is not ideal. Therefore, I created the final version to accommodate a pushed-in coffee filter and provide more space between the lips and paper. I would like to encourage others to credit me if they choose to modify this design while also challenging them to improve it further by reducing print times. If you have any questions or decide to create this mask and want to send it to us for support, please feel free to message me. Thank you, and I wish everyone safety. Materials Needed: 1/4" Elastic band in at least 12" length PLA filament Commercial size coffee filters
