Its massive, pulsing body is covered in writhing, ethereal tendrils that seem to shift and writhe like living serpents. Whenever it attacks, Corona's Beholder unleashes a blast of dark energy that deals 5d10 force damage to all creatures within a 15-foot radius. The area is also filled with an eerie, pulsating glow that makes it difficult for creatures to see, giving them disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks. Corona's Beholder has resistance to cold damage and is immune to poison damage. In combat, Corona's Beholder uses its tentacles to grapple and restrain creatures, holding them in place as it unleashes its dark energy blasts. It can also use its gaze attack to petrify creatures within a 30-foot cone, turning them into statues. If reduced to 0 hit points, Corona's Beholder vanishes in a flash of darkness, only to reappear elsewhere on the battlefield when it regains consciousness.
