Corny / Cornelius Keg Lid Feet
thingiverse
These are replacement feet for your Corny / Cornelius keg lid that's in danger of breaking or falling off as it ages. Print these in ABS, PET, or Nylon for best results. Avoid PLA since it won't withstand typical cleaning solutions and temperatures encountered when cleaning beer making equipment. It will probably break quickly in this application anyway. The STL files are sized with ABS shrinkage taken into account. If you print these in PET, scale the model in your slicer to 92% if you want them to fit tightly and stay on securely. There are two models available: a taller version for lids with less spring and a shorter version for regular lids. The shorter version will work in almost all cases. I don't use support when printing these replacement feet. There is some bridging at the top, but it's just a small gap that most printers can handle easily. This isn't an impressive feat of engineering design, but I've tried to save you the trouble of printing them out repeatedly until they're just right. If your slicer complains about the size being in inches, tell it to mind its own business. It is designed as a metric object and is small enough not to cause any issues. Sketchup files are included if you want to make some adjustments or tweaks.
