Corner Stand

Corner Stand

This thing may not be portable to someone else's needs but it could provide an idea and it certainly serves as an example of what you can do with a 3D Printer. In one corner of our kitchen we have a little speaker dock for a portable radio (for Sara's jogging) and our iPhones. Between it, and the radio and its charger and cable to the speaker, there was a mess of wires that has bothered me for the past two years. This thing provides a little platform for the speaker with room underneath for all the wires. UPDATE! Significant other has decided that she does not like this thing! Does not like the look of it and feels it complicates her life with the hiding of the wires. Oh well. It has been deep six'ed. Instructions The size of this thing matches what I needed for the speaker but it also pretty much maxed out the bed of my Prusa I3 (which is a little smaller than it should be given some issues with my build). It is still a pretty large print on the x and y though not particularly tall. To save time printing, and to save plastic, I cut away parts of the design where structure integrity allowed.
