Corner protector for furnitures
thingiverse
I created a corner protector after experiencing several accidents involving injuries to my legs and feet from sharp furniture edges. This corner protector has a 50mm base and a spherical outer layer that closely approaches the edge I wanted to avoid bumping into. It attaches to wood with two screws, each about 4mm in diameter, securing it as a semi-permanent solution. My girlfriend still bumps against corners occasionally, but no longer suffers even minor bruises. This part should be printed using ABS or PET-G for maximum durability. Print it with support material and remove the support after printing to sand the spherical side smooth. If you find this item improves your daily life, consider supporting my design by sending a tip.
