Corner Protector

Have you ever attempted to carry Insolation Foam packs on an open trailer? If so, did you use tie-down straps for securing them? To safeguard the foam's corners, consider 2.5cm wide corner protectors specifically designed for this purpose. These protectors should work effectively with 1" straps as well. Simply position them on the corners, lay the straps over the protectors, and tighten with a ratchet. A 123D design file is included to help you customize these protectors according to your requirements. The protective corner pieces were successfully printed using a MakerBot with white ABS at a nozzle temperature of 230 degrees and a print bed temperature of 110 degrees. The printing process involved three shells with a 10% infill rate and 0.3mm layer thickness. To optimize the printing, avoid using a raft and print with support.
