Corner Framing Clamp
thingiverse
We had some broken frames around the house that required immediate repair. I spotted a similar clamping system online and thought it would be an effortless print job. This design has proven to be effective, and I don't see any need for updates at this time. If I were starting from scratch, I'd likely consider incorporating knobs with gears that can be easily operated by hand drill since the threaded rod requires a significant number of turns. The printed parts are straightforward, requiring only four pieces of each type. For the clamps, I used four 1/4"-20 threaded rods and 12 nuts. To assemble the knobs, I heat up the capture nut and then pull it into place. The internal nut in the corners is simply inserted without any special tools.
