Update on 4/10/2017: Use the new Corner_Bracket_v2.3.stl file. After much testing and use of my iterations, I discovered that additional strengthening was needed to prevent bolts from bending the bracket outward when tightening up against the glass plate. This version features a thicker cross bar and corners where the bolts are placed now continue down to fully meet the crossbar. The hole for the M3 bolt has been moved to better align with the heat bed, eliminating the need for carving with an X-Acto knife. I also lowered the height of the retainer clips as they were interfering with the homing of the extruder tip. This version incorporates all changes made to date. This remix adapts the design specifically for a Wanhao i3 from Webberen (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1585718). I found that my built/heat plate and borosilicate glass were thicker than allowed for in his design, so I made adjustments accordingly. The mounting hole for the M3 bolt was moved to match the Wanhao i3 Plus build plate requirements. I extended the clips to hold the glass longer as I did not have M3 bolts longer than 18mm. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 70% Notes: Depending on your printer's ability to handle short 90-degree overhangs, you may not need supports. I recommend a raft because the small clips to hold the glass may not stay in place when printing without a raft.
