Corner bracket for hanging stuff
thingiverse
A corner bracket to hang stuff from a 1/2" dowel, designed with versatility in mind. One end of the dowel I had on hand was smaller than 1/2", so I scaled up or made my own adaptation to create a hook end that fits perfectly. The spring-loaded mechanism is a key feature of this corner bracket design. It's positioned at the top, extending from the hole to the retaining ring on the dowel. You can easily adjust the tension by drilling holes to set the position, or use a zip tie to keep it in place. To secure the dowel, I used a 9d finish nail as a pin and dropped one down the hole at the top for added stability. A safety pin was also used to attach it to the dowel collar/retainer, ensuring everything stays in place.
