Here are some corner brackets for cheap 1" square aluminum extrusions! I was looking for a cost-effective method to build an enclosure for my 3-axis CNC mill. After extensive research, I discovered that using 2020 T-slot extrusions would be way too pricey for me. So, I came up with a brilliant idea - creating a bolt-less corner bracket that can be printed in one piece without any supports! This design accommodates common 1" square aluminum extrusions found at Lowes or Home Depot for about $10 per 8-foot length. You can make the extrusions fit snugly or loosely as you prefer by crimping the end of the extrusion slightly with pliers, or even use epoxy for a permanent solution. Building an enclosure for your printer has never been easier! Just print a few brackets and create a box as big or small as you like.
