This robust 90-degree bracket is specifically designed for use with 40mm extrusions. Originally created to facilitate a large format 3D printer build, it provides the necessary square alignment. However, its production requires significant filament usage and prolonged printing times. Unfortunately, two out of five prints experienced noticeable warping issues. Consequently, I opted for a more efficient solution - a 45-degree end cap that relies on an extrusion component for structural support. This design will be detailed further in a subsequent post for those interested. The bracket is engineered to accommodate M6 x 20mm bolts and complemented with M6 drop-in tee nuts designed specifically for 40 mm extrusions.
