Corner Brace Anet A8
thingiverse
This is a corner brace for the Anet A8 printer that stabilizes the frame in the z-axis with precision. It works flawlessly, even without screws in the front and sides. For the front side, I used 3mm screws provided with the Anet A8 printer, while for the side screw, I employed 4mm screws, enlarging the hole in the frame slightly to accommodate them. The holes for the screws are a snug fit, requiring effort to screw them in place. If you prefer a looser fit, you can adjust the diameter of the holes by modifying the CornerBracesAnetA8.scad file using these variables: __frontScrewsDia=3.0;__ and __sideScrewsDia=4.0;. Be aware that the hole positions for screws may not be uniform across all Anet A8 frames, so you can measure your frame's dimensions and adjust the print location by modifying the following variables: __screw1Distance=18.0;__ screw2Distance=37.0;__ and __screw3Distance=47.0;.
