Corner brace
thingiverse
This is a small brace for securing and joining the corners of boxes where a perfect 90 degree angle is needed. I wanted a corner brace that used the fewest number screws and nuts. It was designed for 3mm socket head screws and with captured 3mm nuts that press firmly in the plastic to retain the nut. The braces were designed to be small but robust with a material thickness of 3.75mm. The three inside corners of the brace have been beefed up with 4mm chamfers adding strength to the brace. The version here is 16mm in length on each side. It was perfect for my needs where I was creating a small, weatherproof box to house an arduino. Each of the 3 holes in the brace are exactly 11mm from the corner of the brace (11mm in the "X" and 11mm in the "Y") so you can drill your holes in the material being secured with these dimensions.
