Corner Box

Corner Box

thingiverse

This highly adaptable box/enclosure is designed to seamlessly integrate into a wall/ceiling corner, essentially a cube/cuboid that's been expertly cut diagonally. Its sides are securely joined by precision-engineered hook/groove pairs, with the top finished off with clever hooks. Despite minor imperfections in printing, this design works remarkably well and performs flawlessly on most printers, thanks to its optimized settings. The three edges can each have a unique length, but for a more polished look, it's recommended to maintain at least two of them identical. Edges can be carefully chamfered to accommodate walls with slightly angular corners. This versatile design offers optional features such as a cable hole on the wall side and up to four thoughtfully placed openings for sensors (motion, light, temperature/air quality, camera, etc.) on the front. The accompanying OpenSCAD text is thoroughly documented and packed with intricate geometry details that serve as an excellent resource for building complex structures that fit together in non-right-angled configurations.
