This is Cornelius, Personal Guardian of the Princess of Pillarscape - a one-of-a-kind Android handpicked for assisting the Princess in her daily activities. He's not the first to serve the royal family, but each and every Guardian has a rich history from years of service, and Cornelius is proving to be an exceptional successor. A Guardian is destined to remain a loyal companion to the Princess throughout her life. He's adored by the people of Pillarscape for his charm and cheerful demeanor. Some may say that his lack of royal discipline is a step back from those before him, but he's proven with time to be a valuable asset to the Princess as both a bodyguard and friend. Cornelius can't communicate through speech, relying instead on gestures and vocal cues to get his point across. While his ability to think isn't suppressed, it's considered that speaking up in delicate matters should be left to human royalty alone.
