This holds the poppet valve open, seals and allows the hose to be flushed, I needed 2 (of each)for my keg transfer lines with an inlet or outlet both ends.

The black version is 15.5mm diameter body and the white is 16mm.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Solidoodle

Printer:

Solidoodle 2 - Pro

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.3

Infill:

70%

Post-Printing

Print topside down, worked for me with no support.

There is a small 0.5mm deep groove near the top for an O ring, it will probably not be large enough but I left it more as a guide so you can cut a larger O ring slot with the edge of a square file, or a nail file if you have time, or teeth if you want..

With the O ring in place it does actually seal, I had issues getting water through it without the seal in place.

If you find you cannot push the thing in far enough to get the balls to lock, then use a screwdriver to deepen the hole for the pin in the top, it should be ok though, only opens the vale a mm or so.

designspark mechanical files included if you want to modify.

Category: DIY
