This is a fun twist on the Corne (CRKBD or Helidox) keyboard that relocates the OLED and creates a new LED feature. This case draws inspiration from Star Wars spaceships, industrial machinery, and brutalist architecture. The plate measures 5mm and is compatible with MX and ALPS switches; Choc switches won't work. You'll need to remove the last column on the outside of the Corne PCB or wire it by hand. This case consists of four major components and two adjustable sleds per side, which should be printed right-side up except for OLED covers (printed upside down) and LED sleds (printed sideways with no supports). The LED sled is the only part made from translucent or natural PLA; however, white PLA can also be used as a substitute. The rest of the prints are grey PLA, but you're free to choose any color. The small sled prints are meant to be adjustable due to differences in OLED placement and LED specifications. The LED sled screws into place with one shared screw from the Acrylic piece above it, while the OLED sled is glued in using hot glue for easy adjustments. There's a picture of how I wired the relocated OLED and LEDs using jumper wires. I've included a Fusion 360 file for you to experiment with. To assemble this project, you'll need: 1x Corne kit (one half per side or handwired) Diodes TRRS jacks TRRS cable M2 screws (10 used) Link: Keyhive 4x Acrylic OLED covers (two for each side; specifically the ones for normal Corne) Sanded clear acrylic to frost the ones covering LEDs Link below 36x MX or ALPS mechanical keyboard switches 2x Pro Micro or Elite C 2x OLED 4x LED strips (two per side) 2x Aviator Connectors 22x M3 screws with Allen/Hex head (10mm or 8mm length bolts used) 1x USB micro cable (will be cut in half to patch Pro Micro to Aviator connector) Miscellaneous patch cables, connectors, and heat shrink tubing Note: This is a DIY hack-job that requires knowledge of connecting OLEDs, LEDs, and aviator connectors via jumper wires. You'll also need to work with QMK. This guide is not intended for beginners. Links: AliExpress: 4x LED Strips (two per side) AliExpress: Aviator Connectors AliExpress: M3 screws with Allen/Hex head
